How do you post images? Could someone give me a step-by-step guide or something?

Re: Posting Images
When making a post, you should see a variety of buttons above the text box. The most obvious of these are the bold, italic, and underline ones. Go to your right and you should see one that looks like a painting. Click it, insert, a hyperlink, and bam, you have an image in your post.

I've tried that. It won't work. The image is from my C drive, though, not an http address. Does that make a difference?

Re: Posting Images
Yeah. It has to be an http link. You'll have to find a free image uploader with which to post it on the internet. I'd recommend Imageshack or Photobucket.
Re: Posting Images
It won't upload bitmaps or jpegs. What other options do I have here?

Re: Posting Images
Alright. So, next to the portrait icon that allows you to upload an http image is another icon. It shows the same portrait, except with a floppy disc in front of it. Click the button. Once it's open, you should see two options for uploading an image, "File" or "url." Next to file is a "choose file" button. Clicking on it will allow you to browse your computer for any image file that you want to upload, no matter what type it is. Once you've chosen the file, hit "host it" at the bottom of the page. You'll be given a series of links. Following the one called "image url" will bring you directly to the pic in its raw, non-thumbnailed state. Copy this link. Next, open the http uploader; the portrait without the floppy. Paste the link, and hit okay. A section of text will be inserted into your post wherever your cursor is. This is the image; or will be, when you post.
Hope this helps.
